lIt all begins this weekend. And it's for a great cause! Minnesotans love a reason to get out and enjoy winter. This year we have plenty of snow and some brisk cold - but that won't stop us! We hold festivals all winter long. A favorite is the annual City of Lakes Winter Festival. It includes several fun activities organized by The Loppet Foundation. The Loppet Foundation was founded in 2002 with the mission to bring economically and ethnically diverse individuals and families together through the shared passion for everything outdoors.
The City of Lakes Winter Festival kicks off the January events with a Waffle Loppet on Saturday, January 25th. And in February, the candlelit Luminary Loppit is something that truly needs to be experienced! (The residents of Metric will have easy access to the fun events next winter.) Embrace this amazing and beautiful time of year. Plan ahead and fill your calendar with some of the fun events that can only be done the Minnesota way - right here in Minneapolis. Learn more>>
When you look at this photo, don't you ask yourself, "How did they get that crane onto the second floor?" It is baffling how it all comes together - but it does. And it's exciting to see the process unfold with the shots from our construction camera. Metric is getting taller and now the north parking ramp is exposed, so you can see the building taking shape. We'll continue to announce next steps as we get closer to the lease-up process this spring. But, for now, just sit back and watch the building process... right before your eyes. Join our email list so you will be sure to get news as we announce it.
